How to Update Without Losing Chats

Inside GB WhatsApp, go to GB Settings → Chats → Backup and create a local backup, and keep a copy outside the app.
Open the external download from the file details page (GBWhatsApp APK, about 117 MB, Android 6.0+).
Install it directly over your current version — do not uninstall first.
Open the app and confirm your version number in GB Settings.

Why Updating Matters More for GB WhatsApp
